’s knowledge of the legal hazards of the media world is unrivalled. Whilst in private practice Ambi represented Naomi Campbell in her successful privacy action against the Daily Mirror from the High Court to the House of Lords (2001 -2004). Other clients have included Jimmy Nail, Caprice Bourret, Philip Green and Ed Victor. In 2005 she accepted movie mogul Harvey Weinstein's offer to work for him at Miramax Films as Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs. Few other legal minds, could take on the entertainment industry and provide such unflinching commentary, remaining both stimulating and informative. In any corporate environment, she stands out from the crowd, as much for her flair and style as for her pithy analysis. Blogging has earned Ambi a host of online fans and her numerous interviews with The Associated Press are regularly translated into foreign languages and sold world wide. To describe her as media friendly is an understatement, which is probably why every division of broadcasting, from The Times newspaper, to ITV, the BBC, CNN and Sky News and Associated Press regularly seek out Ambi as their spokeswoman and media commentator of choice.
